GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The highest body of the EAHEA is the General Assembly of its members. All members of the EAHEA may participate in the General Assembly unless otherwise provided by law. The General Assembly convenes once a year.
The General Assembly adopts resolutions on all management matters of the EAHEA that are not placed within the competence of the Management Board of the EAHEA by law or the articles of association.
According to the Articles of Association (Ref. Section 3: General Meeting),the responsibilities of the General Assembly are to:
- Amend the articles of association and objectives.
- Decide on the amount of the entrance fee and the membership fee, and the term for payment of these fees.
- Adopt the annual report of the EAHEA.
- Assign and recall members of the Management Board and decide the remuneration of such members.
- Appoint a controller or an auditor of the EAHEA.
- Decide on entry into transactions with members of the Management Board, decide on the assertion of claims against such members, or appoint a representative of the EAHEA in such transactions or claims.
