EAHEA Associate Membership
EAHEA is a non-governmental, independent and international quality assurance, rating, certification and accreditation association with hundreds of member institutes and institutions that are active in education and training. Most of its members are educational institutes and vocational institutions that operate in many different ways. EAHEA also welcomes other institutions with an interest in education as associate members.
Associate Membership is for institutions that operate in education. Institutions and organizations that do not hold, or do not seek, Institutional Accreditation (Full or Online) can become members of EAHEA by choosing this category, and they enjoy all the membership benefits. Associate Membership is also a full membership of EAHEA: it gives the right to vote at the General Assembly and the other rights that the Articles of Association give to members, until the end of the membership term. The Management Board decides whether a member with Accredited Membership (Full or Online Accreditation) or Associate Membership is admitted as a member of the General Assembly.
You do not need to be an Associate Member to apply for Program Accreditation, Course Accreditation or ECTS Certification. Associate Members receive the partner conditions described on those service pages, such as the free yearly renewal of Course Accreditation. Please note that this is a membership service. It is valid for one year, is renewed annually for a fee, and is not the same as an accreditation service.
